My Favorite Vacation

Hi Friends,

I would like to tell you about my favorite vacation I ever took in Switzerland. This was back in um….2000…and…I think about 2001. I was 11 years old then. My, how the time has gone by. …anyway, Switzerland was marvelous. The mountains, the horses, the people, and the food…OMG, the SWISS CHOCOLATE. It was quit the vacay! I think the aspect I most remember is how friendly the people were.

So, my mom, sister, second cousin, and I went. We had a grand time. We rode a train in the Alps… It was during the summer, so it wasn’t terribly cold… We pet beautiful Swiss horses, We even attended a funeral. It was in Swiss, we all thought that we were just attending a general mass… It hit us when were recognized the meditative pattern of the Hail Mary, Our Father, Glory Be, and etc. AND THE DEAD BODY …I think the Lord was just happy that we came to see him. Plus, it was good to support the family, even though they were strangers to us. Oh well, we are all God’s children.

Dreams, Premonitions and Time Travel

According to its definition, a premonition is a foretelling of the future. Dreams are often premonitions of the subconscious. But what is the scientific basis of premonition? Seeing the future before it happens in your own current reality is time travel. Einstein’s well accepted relativity physics states that time travel is possible, when one object is traveling faster than another object, especially as one object approaches the speed of light, relative to the other.

The earth and all of its inhabitants are traveling near the speed of light relative to a number of other objects in the universe. So let’s explore the Twin Paradox theory of Time Travel and its relationship to dreams and premonitions. Einstein concluded that if there were two twins born on earth, and one of them boarded a space craft, traveled a round trip near the speed of light relative to his twin and returned to earth, his twin would be long dead. Scientists that examine sub-atomic particles confirm the factual nature of the Twin Paradox over and over again as they accelerate particles in large accelerators such as the CERN laboratory.

So based on this assumption, it is not a stretch to conclude that the twin that returns to earth after his travels, could examine the history books or a diary of his dead twin and see the entire life in a moment, relative to a short year or two that had passed on his own journey.

If you understand the nature of vibration in the body, especially relative to eastern chakras, you will begin to understand the nature of time travel in your own body. When your spirit resonates with your 7th and 8th chakras, you are removed from the limitations of your own earthly vessel and can travel near the speed of light, relative to your partner that is lying in bed next to you. This is what allows you, in a state of dreams or meditation, to witness the future before it happens.

Consider for a moment that you are a photon of light, traveling from the sun. According to Einstein’s equations, you are traveling at the speed of light, so that you see the complete history of the universe, from beginning to end, in a single moment. This means that the time experienced in the universe from the moment of the big bang to now, around 14 billion years, can be viewed by the light, from beginning to end, in a moment. Cosmic Background Radiation can be thought of as a premonition of the future of the universe.

Because of the unique characteristics of relativity physics, it does not take a leap of understanding to conclude that although the twin that traveled away from the earth is only one or two years older, a much longer time has passed for his long dead twin, and he arrives back to earth to witness “the future” of his twin.

Everything in the universe is traveling near the speed of light, relative to something else in the universe. So it is easy to conclude that our future has already happened, relative to some other observer in the universe, and our dreams and premonitions are simply the electromagnetic signature of that observable future.

When we dream, meditate or otherwise become free from the bondage of our physical vessel, we time travel. We then have the ability to witness the past and the future, all in a moment. We become like God, which is the light of the universe. In the same fashion, we can consciously shape our futures because there are an infinite number of futures for all of us. Knowing what we want in our lives, especially relative to contributing to the higher vibration of humanity, allows us to shape and mold our future, just as an artist would shape a piece of art.

7 Great Farewell Gift Ideas For Someone Traveling

One of your friends or a family member is about to go traveling around the country or overseas. They could be traveling anywhere between a 3 month adventure or for a few years, on a trip of a lifetime. No matter how long they are going for, you want to give them something special as a gift. This could be very difficult as they usually need to pack relatively light to be more mobile and need to fit as much in their luggage as they can. The fact that travel companies have strict luggage restrictions also must be considered.

Here are 7 great farewell gift ideas that can help in finding that perfect gift for the traveler.

Document Wallet

A document wallet is definitely something they will need. It keeps important travel documents like a passport, travel tickets, itineraries and visa paperwork, all in one place. They will not have trouble finding them when they need them most.

Luggage Set or Backpack

Depending on the type of travel they are doing, a set of luggage or a backpack is an obvious gift. A backpack is suitable for day trips, backpacking trips and extreme adventures, whilst a luggage set suits most other travel destinations.

Camera

A camera would be appreciated as travelers would be taking many photos on their trip to document their memories, and to show their family and friends back home. A good idea is to also include extra batteries and/or memory cards with this gift.

Travel Journal

If the gift recipient enjoys writing, then a travel journal is an ideal item. It allows them to record their thoughts and activities on their trip. There are numerous styles and designs to choose from and you can select one that best suits their personality. To have it personalized with their name would make it even more special.

Lonely Planet Destination Book

With so many sites for each destination, a book listing all the must-see sites and places to eat, stay and shop, is a great gift for the traveler. Lonely Planet is well-known for publishing books for a wide range of global destinations. The traveler can carry it around on their daily site-seeing trips.

Kindle

For travelers who are avid readers, this would be a highly desired item. They cannot bring all their books with them so an item that allows them to search and store their books in one device, is a dream. The Kindle weighs much less than a bag full of books and have more titles than a local library to choose from.

Toiletry Essentials

A perfect gift for those on a budget is toiletry essentials. This can include a toiletry bag full of travel size toiletries such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant sunblock, mouthwash and body lotion. As they would have to purchase these items eventually, giving this as a farewell gift, will save them time and the hassle.

These are 7 simple gift ideas you can give to someone who is traveling. They are useful, thoughtful, and ensure that the traveler packs light. If you have ever traveled, you know some of the potential hassles faced. Save them from carrying around heavy luggage, help locate documents easily, and find good places to eat and stay.

Travel: Different Means of Travel!

Nowadays, there are many different means of travelling which include airplane or ships or trains or buses etc. you can choose your medium by keeping in view your interest, your priorities and of course your budget. Lets have some general over view of different means of travelling.

AIR: Air travel is the most recent means of moving from one place to another. Since its first usage, it has become so popular due to its many advantages that it is now the most used mean of travel by people for long routes. It is taken as an expensive choice although there are many air lines that are offering air flights quite cheaply but over all it is an expensive but most quick mean of moving from one place to another.

SEA: Sea is one of the oldest means of travelling. Ships were used for roaming even by Greeks and Egyptians. It remained the main source of travelling for quite a long time but after the invention of aero planes, it has somehow lost its place. Nowadays moving from one place to another by sea is rarely done and even when done it is mostly through large ships which are built for luxurious cruising for the more privileged people. Middle and lower class people can’t really enjoy in those huge and luxurious vessels.

TRAIN: Moving from one city to another by means of train is considered as the most reliable and affordable mean of travelling. Trains now for long have remained a top priority of people for travelling. Travelling by train has all the ingredients that it takes for a perfect travel as it is quick and reliable and cheap mean of travelling.

10 Reasons Why People Travel

When people decide to leave the comforts of their home and venture to other locations there is usually a reason behind it. Whether the cause to travel was a last minute whimsy or had an actual purpose, it makes one think about all of the reasons why people travel. Reflect on the last time you left your location and ventured to another one. Did it have a purpose behind it? Let’s look and see if your motive to travel matched any of the one’s listed below. These are not listed in any particular order.

1. Romance- There are thousands of people who are involved in long distance relationships. At some point though, they need to see each other. For the sake of love, people will travel for hours to spend as much time as they can with the love of their life.

2. Relaxation- All work and no play is not a good thing. People need to get away from the stress of everyday life, and a nice sunny location with a beach might just be what the doctor ordered.

3. Family/ Friends -Many people have family/friends that are located in different parts of the world. They need to visit with them even if it’s for a short period of time.

4. Religion- There are places in the world that hold religious importance for many people. Religious travel is often related to a purpose such as seeing where the last pope was buried, or traveling to the town where Jesus was born.

5. Death- A relative, friend or acquaintance has passed away and travel is required to attend the funeral which is located out of town.

6. Honeymoon- You’re getting married and are going somewhere special to celebrate. This usually occurs right after the wedding, but there are many occasions where people celebrate a honeymoon years later.

7. Education-You’re getting your education somewhere other than where you live or you are going away on an educational school trip.

8. Celebration- Wedding, Anniversary, Birthday, Birth- There’s always something to celebrate and it doesn’t always happen where you live.

9. Medical/Health- Sometimes the treatment you need isn’t available in the city/town where you live. Often the best medical care is costly and requires travel to receive it.

10. Work- Job requirements might mean a fair bit of travel is involved. Even if the travel is within your own country it still has a purpose attached to it.

Overall, traveling can be a wonderful experience or it can be draining, expensive and just plain torture. Nonetheless if you need to go then embrace it for what it is, and try to make the best of it even if it wasn’t planned.

Traveling As a Part of Education

Education involves not only reading books and doing exercises, but also attaining knowledge through doing something practically. In other words, practical experience is a part of education. In this sense, since traveling adds to our experience and knowledge base, it can safely be considered a part of education.

In this connection it must be said that traveling has, roughly speaking, two purposes: acquiring experience and pleasure. But it must be emphasized that in both the cases knowledge comes from traveling.

As far as the education-traveling nexus is concerned, we can aver that traveling should be made statutory for students. If this is done, then it will be a part of education. It has, however, a number of benefits. These are enumerated below.

Firstly, what we learn from our textbooks needs to be verified in light of reality. If this is done, then the knowledge earned from books becomes practicable. And if this is to be achieved, then there must be sufficient opportunities for traveling such as education tour or excursion.

Secondly, there are some subjects which cannot be taught or learnt from textbooks. Geography, history, and some branches of science fall in this category of subjects. For the sake of perfect knowledge in these subjects, students must be inspired and patronized to go on education tours.

Thirdly, education without pleasure becomes, in most of the cases, prosaic and ineffectual. The processes of education in which recreational facilities are in-built, therefore, prove to be most effective.

The other side of traveling as a part of education should not in any case be overlooked. This is, it involves the question- Is it really affordable by the students? The answer, regrettably, will be in the negative in most of the cases. If traveling is, for instance, made an essential part of education, then, to be sure it will be a great burden on the guardian of poor countries. The consequence will be that only a minority of students will be able to avail themselves of the opportunity of acquiring perfect knowledge on the related subjects, while majority of them will be deprived of the opportunity. This poses a great problem on the decision maker as well as the whole educational system.

But it is not that such a problem is totally unsolvable. To make the extracurricular activities like traveling more effective, it should be programmed in a limited way within a limited budget. Also, educational institutions as well as the government should come forward to help students in this regard with reasonable amount of financial assistance.

Therefore, it is advisable that all educational institutions around the world take sufficient care to include traveling in the overall educational program ensuring the eager involvement of the majority of the students.
